About Us

Wolterland Estates Ltd. is a family owned and operated business with over 40 years experience specializing in recreational lots and acreages throughout Canada’s Maritime Provinces. Dietrich Wolter founded the company in 1975 and started his family shortly thereafter.

Growing up Dieter’s sons spent countless hours exploring eastern Canada in the family RV, walking properties with their father, and enjoying summers at the family cottage in Cape Breton. Their love for the east coast and the family business led them to take over the company and follow in their father’s footsteps.

Since its establishment in 1975, properties have been sold to Canadians, Americans, Europeans, and other buyers from around the world. Over the years, Wolterland has developed a positive reputation with their customers for their honest and friendly service.

Property brothers Steven and Richard Wolter carefully select and purchase each piece of land that appears on their site. They spend time personally inspecting lots, documenting key features, taking photos, and exploring nearby communities – providing buyers with top-notch information for their Canadian land investment.

Whether they’re walking properties, driving back roads, or hiking to a nearby geocache, Steven and Richard are well immersed in what it means to enjoy the east coast lifestyle and are eager to share their experiences with you.

Owning a piece of land on the east coast means enjoying everyday adventures like boating, sailing, fishing, exploring, and taking part in unique cultural activities. Wolterland Estates can help you find the perfect property for your future home away from home or retirement getaway in eastern Canada. Contact us today to learn more!
