There are two small brooks that run through the land from North to South, which lead to the St. Nicholas River on the south side of Highway 470 (opposite your land). Within very easy reach of your acreage are access points and boat launch sites to the St. Nicholas River and the Richibucto River favorite boating waters for all variety of boats including pontoon boats, speed boats, fishing boats and sailboats. Canoeing, Kayaking, paddle boarding are also great activities along these waters. You can boat inland all the way up to Bass River, or venture out to the coastline of the Northumberland Strait via Rexton and Richibucto. The Northumberland Strait is home to the warmest ocean water temperatures in Canada, with some areas reaching 77 degrees Fahrenheit or 25 degrees Celcius.
