Land located at Saint Maurice in the Parish of Wellington in the County of Kent and Province of New Brunswick.

SIZE: 50+/- acres or 20+/- hectares

This parcel of land is just 5 miles northwest of the town of Bouctouche, located on the eastern side of New Brunswick’s Acadian Coastal Drive.  The area is rich with sandy warm beaches, unique cultural mix of Micmac, Acadians, and English, and legendary hospitality of the spirited people demonstrated at numerous festivals, celebrations and other events.

Looking for a quiet place to relax? This may just be what you’re looking for. Located just 5 miles from the lovely town of Bouctouche is this 50 acre parcel accessed via a crown reserve road. The road will be improved in 2008.

The land is rectangular in shape measuring approximately 650 feet along its northerly and southerly boundaries and 3,280 feet along its easterly and westerly boundaries. The land is more or less level and appears to be well treed with a good stand of timber towards its northerly end.

You have plenty of room to build a cabin for those fall hunts as deer, moose, grouse and rabbits are a common sight in this area of New Brunswick. Electricity and telephone run along St-Maurice Rd, approximately 2000 feet away from the southerly end of the parcel.

There appears to be a small brook passing through the parcel close to its southerly end. The brook is part of the Black River system which makes its way east from here to Bouctouche and the Baie de Bouctouche.

With the brook passing through your parcel, the nearby Black River and good tree cover this is an excellent environment for wildlife and provides almost endless outdoor opportunities for those who enjoy hunting, fishing, hiking, snowmobiling, and photography. Perfect habitat for deer, moose and other game. There are many trails in the area over existing crown access roads and the New Brunswick Trail network for you to explore.

Getting here is easy. From Moncton take highway 15 East, direction Shediac (famous for Parlee Beach and known as the lobster capital of the world). Merge onto highway 11 North and follow for 22.5 miles, past Bouctoche, taking exit 36 toward St-Maurice on highway 134. Follow highway 134 for 2.5 miles to the crown reserve road on your right. Look for open fields and civic address 761 St-Maurice Rd.
